It's time for my favorite post of the year! Don't get me wrong, I love posting my free crochet and knit patterns here but I absolutely get giddy about writing these gift guides! Although I am mostly focused on fiber arts in this blog, I am also a fanatic baker myself, I enjoy small scale gardening on my balcony and I am playing around with pottery too. I believe that people who like doing things with their hands are not usually focused on just one craft but several. A project bag they will never want to part with
If you have a maker in your life, you know we tend to explode to any space we get to have. Especially when we work at a lot of projects at the same time. Treat your yarn loving friends to a skein (or three) of vegan boucle plant dyed cotton yarn. Made in Greece by TheAthenianMaker it’s a 100% Pima Cotton Boucle that reaches 500m at 100gr. It’s a very nice yarn to both crochet and knit with, very soft and strong.
The easiest thing you can get any fiber artist! We are really very easy to please!
You can find a vast variety of yarns on Hobbii.com. Don't get overwhelmed if you don't know anything about yarn! Just choose a color you think they'd like from any yarn! If you think they like airy fluffy stuff go for the Friends Kids Silk and if you've seen them favor bulkier (thicker) yarns, then Umami is the way to go!
Did you know that you can surprise them with glow in the dark yarn? Bling Bling yarn is a very fun and useful yarn for making accessories and garments that glow in the dark. Think bicycle and running beanies etc.

Patterns and Pattern Books
There's something heart-warming in giving a book as a gift. When the book is filled with the cutest amigurumi patterns then every single crocheter (newbie or not) is thrilled! My friend Vivika from Wandering deer poured all her talent in the designing and writing of the Mini Amigurumi patterns, her trademark sized creatures!
These patterns are perfect for when you need to make something but you don’t have a lot of time. They vary in difficulty degree and design and they will keep you on your toes!

Tunisian Hooks
Nothing says "I love you and want to support your handmade journey" like a nice set of tools. What does every crocheter need? More crochet hooks of cource! I am not joking, no matter how many hooks we have we always enjoy getting more as a gift. And if the hook is a Furls hook then the gift recipient will love you forever. These are the best hooks I've ever used in my life long crocheting journey and I can't wait to get more in the future! They keep creating masterpieces for hooks and I am drooling over them!

Every creative has struggled with graphic design. Either it's how to make a professional card or how to create engaging posts on social media, we need graphic designers in our life!
